THANK YOU FOR A GREAT FIRST SEASON!

We want to express our gratitude to everyone that has supported us throughout our first season whether that support be buying our flowers, spreading word about our farm, or just a simple word of encouragement. We cannot thank you enough.

This has been a year of figuring things out. For those that know us personally, you know that we have a tendency to set pretty lofty goals and starting this flower farm was no exception. We don’t typically test the waters but dive head first and by doing that, we’ve already learned so much in such a short amount of time. But boy oh boy, we still have so much to learn.

We had anticipated opening the farm up to the public this first year but quickly realized that our first step should be to get out into our new community. We connected with so many people throughout this first season creating relationships with customers, fellow flower farmers, and business owners. We have loved our Saturdays at the Paducah Farmers’ Market and we will definitely be continuing that throughout the 2025 season in addition to hosting a ton of events on the farm.

People constantly ask us what’s next and we wanted to take this time to give you some insight into what the 2025 flower season will hold. Now that we’ve sorted out the growing aspect, we are going to jump right into the community aspect of our farm and building this dream for our family.

OUR FALL & WINTER

field prep, field prep, & more field prep.

For our first season, we were strictly focused on making sure we could prep the ground enough to get things planted in the spring. This year, we’re completely reworking our field to make sure our space feels as magical as our flowers.

During our fall and winter, we will hyper focus on soil health and field flow. We are reconfiguring the layout of our field to better accommodate our more delicate flowers and to allow for an ample amount of space to host events, u-picks, and various clubs.

Yes, this is our home but we want it to act as a retreat for our whole community.

As a farm focused on organic growing methods, things need to happen at a slower pace so the soil can develop at its own rate. Because of this, we will be halting our 2024 season in early September to allow for us to build, feed, and nurture our field for next year.

This should be our only season that doesn’t allow for fall blooms. We’re just as bummed as you are about this! Because of all of the prep work that needs to be done to accommodate public farm days for next season, we want to give ourselves an ample amount of time to make sure we do it right.

Next season, you can expect a fully enclosed flower field that lends to the feeling of a secret garden, tons of raised beds made from an old barn on our new farm, ADA compliant walkway widths, picnic spaces, and designated parking for the field.

THE 2025 SEASON WILL BRING...

We want people to come to our field and take a break from the world! To help make this happen, we are going to load up our calendar with countless opportunities to come breath in our flowers.

We will be hosting a ton of u-pick events both during the week and on the weekends. We’ll have various floral-focused workshops such as eco-printing, dried floral wreath making, floral design, and so much more. Date nights surrounded by flowers and music and one-on-one events for you and your kiddos. We’re also looking forward to hosting Flower & Flow days in the fields where you’ll participate in guided yoga session followed by a u-pick. Along with all of those things, we’ll be opening up our fields for private events and rentals for birthday parties, showers, and appreciation events.

Our minds are just spinning with everything we can do in the field so don’t worry, the event list will grow before the start of next season!

THE GIVING GARDEN CLUB

We’re starting a kid’s club focused on learning about plants and giving back to our community! The club will meet once a month throughout our entire growing season. Each meet-up will focus on a different aspect of flower farming. We’ll talk about soil, seeds, roots, pollinators, weather, plant life cycles, and so much more. We’ll have a lesson, a craft, and a gardening task each session so not only will your kiddo be able to learn but they’ll be able to get their hands in some dirt and be involved. Why is it called “The Giving Garden”? Because the flowers grown within the club’s very own raised bed will be donated back to our community! Flowers lift spirits and we need a whole lot more of that in this world of ours. We’ll release more information on the specifics of the club and registration details mid-winter!
